Big Island police seek info on missing girl

Hawaii County police are searching for a 16-year-old girl reported as missing from her Keaau home since Aug. 28.

She has been identified as Amber Mcatee.

She is described as part-Filipino, 5-feet-6, about 110 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

Police ask anyone with information about her whereabouts to call the Police Department's non-emergency number at 935-3311.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona. All Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.
