Input sought on park closing hours at Kihei meeting

The Maui County Department of Parks and Recreation will host a community meeting on Thursday to seek public input on park closing hours in the Kihei area.The meeting will start at 6:30 p.m. at the Kihei Community Center on Lipoa Street.
Officials from the parks department, the Maui Police Department, the Corporation Counsel, the Maui County Council, Maui Tomorrow and the 'Ohana Coalition will present their respective positions, followed by break-out groups to explore the topics more thoroughly.
