WCC shows off science teaching tools at event

Windward Community College will host the second annual A Taste of Science Family Activity Night from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the campus's Hale Palanakila, 45-720 Kea'ahala Road.

Astronomy professor Jake Hudson, a Castle High School graduate, will give tours of the NASA Flight Training Aerospace Educational Laboratory that is equipped with a space shuttle flight simulator and computers that help in the design of aircraft. Hands-on activities and a visit to the Imaginarium "Flights of Fancy" show are included.
