Kauai police ask for public's help in teen runaway case

Officials with the Kaua'i Police Department are asking for the public's help with an apparent teen runaway case.

According to police, 16-year-old Mahealani Goodwin was reportedly last seen on Oct. 18 leaving Kaua'i High School in a white car driven by her boyfriend.

The teen is 5 feet tall and has brown eyes and brown hair. She has a 2-inch, five-point red star tattoo on her inner right wrist. Goodwin is of Hawaiian descent and has a tan complexion and a small build.
