10-to-14-foot surf due on Hawaii's north shores

The incoming northwest swell will peak today as it rises to heights of 10 feet to 14 feet along north-facing shores, the National Weather Service said.The swell will diminish tomorrow.
West-facing shores will see surf 5 feet to 8 feet today, while east-facing shores will see surf 2 feet to 4 feet and surf along south shores will remain 3 feet or less.
A moderate-sized south swell arrives late tomorrow and will continue through Friday, slowly subsiding Saturday and Sunday, the National Weather Service said.
