Meeting on Kawaihae harbor project today

A follow-up informational meeting regarding the proposed harbor improvement project for the Kawaihae Small Boat Harbor (South) takes place on the Big Island from 5:30 to 7 p.m. today at the Waimea Senior Center, 67-1199 Mamalahoa Highway, in Kamuela.The Department of Land and Natural Resources' Division of Boating and Ocean Recreation will present new information regarding the conceptual plans for the state's first new small boat harbor in 30 years, which is currently in the design phase.
Potential future users of this harbor are encouraged to attend the meeting.
