University of Hawai'i quarterback Colt Brennan practiced today for the first time since suffering a concussion in Saturday's 37-30 victory over Fresno State.

He participated in the offensive drills against the scout team, but not in any other workouts against the first-team defense.

UH coach June Jones said the scout work was more important because it simulated plays run by Nevada, the opponent in Friday's nationally televised game.

Jones reiterated his opinion that Brennan will start.

The team is scheduled to depart this afternoon for its fifth road game of the season.
