Advertiser Staff

The public information session "Elder Law" will be held from noon to 1 p.m. today in the Hawai'i Supreme Court building.

The event is sponsored by the Hawaii State Judiciary and is part of the "Lunch 'n' Learn the Law" program, a series of free seminars for the general public on topics relating to specific areas of the law and the courts. Volunteer presenters include judges, attorneys, court officials and other subject-matter experts.

Today's featured speaker is James H. Pietsch, director of the University of Hawai'i Elder Law Program. He is also a professor at the University's William S. Richardson School of Law and an adjunct professor of geriatric medicine at the John A. Burns School of Medicine.

This session will be held in the Supreme Court conference room on the second floor of Ali'iolani Hale, 417 S. King St.
