Church members will create four tableaux representing Christmas art, starting with the Renaissance up to modern times, presented in a life-sized picture frame with people who physically resemble the characters, posed and costumed to duplicate the paintings such as Fra Angelico's "The Annunciation."

Augmenting the art will be dance, narrations and music by violinist Amanda Schubert, a symphony musician, and a combined choir.

The program will be held 5 p.m. Dec. 9 at the church, 2704 Kailauea Ave.
