Waianae man arrested in arson, assault case

A 29-year-old Wai'anae man was arrested today at his Hokuaiaina Place residence for investigation of second-degree arson and second-degree assault.The arrest occurred at 10:45 a.m.
The man had not been charged but was being held at the main police station cellblock nearly 12 hours after his arrest.
Details about the case were not available.
