Hyatt Regency making turkeys to go

Hyatt Regency Waikiki Resort & Spa started its "Turkey to Go" takeout holiday dinners in 1992.

This year the dinner feeds a family of four to six people and includes a 10- to 12-pound Butterball turkey, chestnut and sage dressing, mashed potatoes, corn chowder, giblet gravy, buttered corn, rolls and butter, cranberry relish, candied yams and pumpkin pie. The complete dinner is $85 plus tax.

The Hyatt usually sells out the 1,250 dinners it prepares.

The Hyatt Regency has drive-through service for Turkey to Go customers on Thanksgiving Day from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
