Smoke-free law anniversary events today on Maui

The Maui Tobacco-Free Partnership is celebrating the first anniversary of the state's "smoke-free law" by hosting two events today.Smokers can "pitch the pack" from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Safeway stores in Kihei and Kahului or at the Maui Mall's Center Court.
A Smoke-Free Law Celebration will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. at Tiffany's Bar and Grill in Wailuku. There will be pupu.
The cost is $10 per person. Reservations are required; call 808-573-6554.
