Advertiser Staff

The second annual Waikiki International Food Festival Nov. 24 at the Pacific Beach hotel features food tasting, a live and silent auction and entertainment, benefiting charities selected by the organizer, Waikiki Rotary Club.

The event, from 5:30 to 10 p.m., showcases regional culinary styles, including France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Hawai'i and the area "South of the Border." Peter Carlisle will be master of ceremonies and Rubber Soul will perform along with Al Harrington. Tickets are $100 from Carol Ripley, 392-5439.

Last year, many different not-for-profit organizations, from the Cancer Society to the Ala Wai Clean-Up Project, have benefited.
