Big Island's 'Most Wanted' hunts down credit frauds

A man wanted for violating a temporary restraining order, a woman being sought for fraudulent use of a credit card and a couple suspected of passing bogus checks will be featured on today's edition of the CrimeStoppers television program "Hawaii Island's Most Wanted."

The program airs on Oceanic Time Warner's public access Channel 54 on Fridays at 5:30 p.m. and Sundays at 5 p.m. It also airs intermittently on Channel 53.

In today's episode, police ask for the public's help in locating 32-year-old Gabriel Akao of Kailua, Kona, who is wanted for repeatedly violating a temporary restraining order. Police ask anyone who knows where he is to call officer Renee Morinaka at 808-326-4646, ext. 276.

The show also asks for help in finding Kantrel Santos of Mountain View. The 28-year-old woman is wanted for fraudulent use of a credit card.

The TV program also renews its request for help locating 37-year-old John Hauoli and 31-year-old Ewa Gilbert, who are wanted for numerous theft and forgery cases involving the cashing of bogus payroll checks. Police ask anyone with information about their whereabouts to call detective Kenneth Quiocho at 808-326-4646, ext. 281.
