TONIGHT'S MUST-SEE

"Men in Trees," 7 p.m., ABC. It's wedding day for Annie and Patrick, two sweet and naive people who are Marin's biggest fans. Patrick runs the radio station and inn in this tiny Alaskan town. Annie followed Marin here from New York and found a new life. We'll root for the wedding to go well, but that won't be easy. As the hour starts, Annie's dad (Colm Meaney) is missing, and her mom (Annie Potts) is giving her attention to Jerome. Marin's life is also complicated: Jack is leaving for almost a year; Cash visits her cabin.

"Frank Caliendo: All Over the Place," 8 p.m., TBS. Next Thursday, Caliendo starts his weekly, late-night show on TBS. Here's a special, to get us in the mood. Caliendo has been a Fox star, on "Mad TV" and the NFL preview show. He's known for his impressions, from sports (John Madden, Charles Barkley) to actors (Robert De Niro, Al Pacino) and President Bush.

OF NOTE

"Titanic" (1997), 6 p.m., TNT. This Oscar-winner is a rarity — an epic, big-budget movie that still maintained its intimately crafted romance.

"Because of Winn-Dixie" (2005),6 p.m., FX. In a scruffy little town, a 10-year-old preacher's daughter has a scraggly dog and a quiet life. The story feels contrived, but the film is boosted by Wayne Wang's direction and a likable cast, with AnnaSophia Robb, Jeff Daniels, Cicely Tyson and (in a non-musical role) Dave Matthews.

"Ghost Whisperer," 7 p.m., CBS. Delia's friend has bought a country home, but Melinda has suspicions.

"The Next Great American Band," 7 p.m., Fox. The field is trimmed from eight to seven bands. Then they perform.

"Man vs. Wild," 7 p.m., Discovery. This is the second half of the show that plunked Bear Grylls into the Sahara Desert. Bear also likes to show us things we can use in our lives. Today, he shows how to skin and disembowel a dead camel.

"Friday Night Lights," 8 p.m., NBC. This is the first day that college recruiters can talk to the players; Smash, of course, is excited. Matt, the quarterback, is sort of happy dating a cheerleader, but he keeps noticing his grandmother's live-in babysitter; and after breaking up with him, Julie is jealous.

"Women's Murder Club," 8 p.m., ABC. Lindsay gets an important medical diagnosis. Also, one of the members of the "club" is abducted.

"Numb3rs," 9 p.m., CBS. An heiress has been kidnapped, but the motive is surprising.

"Las Vegas," 9 p.m., NBC. The "hands on hard bodies" contest is difficult to run — especially when Cooper tells Sam to help one of the contestants.
