Beretania paving project will result in lane closures

Crews will begin paving a stretch of Beretania Street next week between Lauhala Street to Alakea Street.The paving project will involve nighttime lane closures, leaving motorists two to three lanes to use for through traffic.
Paving will take place from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Monday, Tuesday and Friday this coming week and again during the period of Nov. 26 through Dec. 14.
Motorists are encouraged to avoid the area during these times if possible.
