Light trades, windward showers top today's forecast

Light trade winds and a stable pattern of windward and mountain showers will persist today, according to the National Weather Service forecast.

A a trough with a week weather front will move south into the state on Sunday, forecasters said.

An unsettled weather pattern will continue through the middle of next week.

Here's a closer look at the next few days:

Today, sunny. Highs 79 to 84. East winds 10 to 15 mph.

Tonight, partly cloudy. Isolated showers after midnight. Lows 67 to 72. Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

Sunday, partly sunny with scattered showers. Highs 77 to 83. Northeast winds 10 to 20 mph. Chance of rain 50 percent.

Sunday night, mostly clear. Lows around 66. Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph.

Monday, mostly sunny with isolated showers. Highs 75 to 82. Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

Monday night, partly cloudy with isolated showers. Lows 66 to 71. Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.
