Warriors drop one spot to No. 14 in AP poll

Despite its victory over Nevada on Friday, the University of Hawaii football team dropped one spot to 14th today in The Associated Press Top 25 poll.

Defending national champion Florida leap-frogged UH, moving from No. 14 to No. 12.

The Warriors edged Nevada 28-26 on Friday in a Western Athletic Conference game.

Hawai'i (10-0, 7-0 WAC) hosts No. 17 Boise State (10-1, 7-0) Friday at Aloha Stadium.

LSU remained at No. 1. Kansas (11-0), the only other team besides Hawaii to remain unbeaten in major-college football, is No. 2.

In the USA Today poll, Hawai'i also fell a spot, falling from No. 12 to No. 13.

LSU remained at No. 1. Boise State fell two spots from No. 15 to No. 17.
