Surf creeping up along north, west shores

Surf is on the way up along the north-facing shores on O'ahu and should reach 4 to 8 feet today, according to the National Weather Service.Surf is also on the rise along west-facing shores and is expected to climb to 2 to 4 feet today forecasters said.
Elsewhere, look for surf of 2 to 4 feet along east-facing shores and 2 to 3 feet along south facing shores.
North swells will continue to roll up on north-facing shores through Friday, likely warranting a high surf advisory for east-facing shores later in the week.
