442nd veteran recounts WWII experience tonight

World War II veteran and author Ronald Oba will be the featured guest speaker at the Pearl City Community Association's annual general membership meeting tonight at the Pearl City Highlands Elementary School cafeteria.Oba, who served in the famed 442nd Regimental Combat Team, is also the author of "The Men in Company F." He will speak about the 442nd and experiences in World War II.
Oba's presentation will follow an approximately 15-minute association business meeting at 6:30 p.m. The public is invited to attend.
Medal of Honor recipient and 100th Infantry Battalion veteran Shizuya Hayashi is also expected to attend the meeting.
