Children's Alliance seeks holiday gifts for abused kids

Advertiser Staff

The Children's Alliance of Hawaii is looking for some Christmas elves to help with its annual "Christmas Angel Project," providing holiday gifts to sexually abused children and their siblings.

Children's wishes are posted on cutout angels. Schools, companies, civic and church groups, and individuals can sponsor one or multiple angels.

Donors are asked to contribute gifts no later than Dec. 10, so volunteers may deliver the gifts by Christmas.

The nonprofit Children's Alliance of Hawaii assists the Children's Justice Center and serves sexually abused children from toddlers through teens with therapeutic and enhancement programs. For more information about the organization, go to www.cahawaii.org.

To participate in the Christmas Angel Project, contact Kim Bartenstein, 599-2955, ext. 216 or bartenstein@cahawaii.org.
