Suspect in Waikiki assault on visitor still at large

Honolulu CrimeStoppers is seeking information on a man who assaulted a visitor Halloween night in Waikiki.

The assault occurred near the intersection of Kalakaua Avenue and Saratoga Road.

According to police, the 24-year-old male victim was walking near the intersection when he was approached by a man who punched him in the face. The victim was knocked unconscious after falling and hitting his head on the sidewalk. The visitor was hospitalized for two weeks with serious head injuries.

CrimeStoppers today issued a sketch of the suspect, who is about 6 feet 2 inches tall and 170 pounds. He was wearing a white tank top and khaki shorts at the time of the attack.
