Waialua school gets mural for Make a Difference Day

A mural painted by artist Hilton Alves was donated to Waialua Elementary School as part of Make a Difference Day.

Students, staff, parents, community members and local business partners joined in the effort, which is held the last Saturday in October. More than 1 million people nationwide take part in Make a Difference Day, sponsored by the Points of Light Foundation and USA Weekend.
