NFL: Ravens defensive end Pryce out for the season

OWINGS MILLS, Md. — Defensive end Trevor Pryce was placed on injured reserve with a torn pectoral muscle today, putting him out for the final six games of the season.A four-time Pro Bowl selection, Pryce missed five games earlier this season with a broken left wrist that required surgery. He returned to play three games, but injured his chest during the final minutes of Sunday's 33-30 overtime loss to the Cleveland Browns.
The 32-year-old Pryce led the Ravens with 13 sacks last season, his first in Baltimore after signing a five-year, $25 million contract. Limited by the injuries, he had just 19 tackles and two sacks this season.
"We've had a lot of games without him," coach Brian Billick said, "so we're prepared to on with the next group."
Baltimore signed defensive tackle Zarnell Fitch from the practice squad to fill Pryce's place on the roster.
