2 seriously hurt in 3-car crash at Nimitz, Kalihi Street

Two people were seriously injured in a three-car accident near the corner of Nimitz Highway and Kalihi Street this afternoon, officials said.Emergency Medical Services spokesman Bryan Cheplic said one man in his 60s was taken to The Queen's Medical Center in critical condition following the mid-afternoon crash.
A second man in his 50s was taken to Queen's in serious condition, Cheplic said.
The accident resulted in the temporary closure of the west-bound lanes on Nimitz.
