Thanksgiving Day weather will be mostly dry

Thanksgiving Day weather is shaping up to be rather dry across most of the state, the National Weather Service said this morning. Clouds and showers will be mainly confined to the eastern end of the island chain tonight.

Locally heavy showers are expected to continue across parts of Maui. Last night, a half-inch of rain fell at Pukalani on Maui, but flooding isn't anticipated.

Today: Sunny. Highs 78 to 83. Northeast winds 15 to 20 mph.

Tonight: Mostly clear. Lows 67 to 72. Northeast winds 15 to 20 mph.

Friday: Sunny. Highs 78 to 83. Northeast winds 15 to 20 mph.

Friday Night: Mostly clear. Lows 68 to 73. Northeast winds 15 to 20 mph.

Saturday: Sunny. Highs 78 to 83. Northeast winds 10 to 20 mph.

Saturday Night: Mostly clear. Lows 67 to 72. Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph.

Sunday: Mostly sunny with isolated showers. Highs 78 to 83. East winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.
