Weather forecast bright for big game

Weather forecasters are predicting a sunny day today as a national television audience watches the University of Hawaii football team try to continue its undefeated season.

The National Weather Service is predicting sunny skies, with high temperatures of 78 to 83 degrees. Northeast winds are expected to be 15 to 20 mph.

Tonight the forecast calls for mostly clear skies, with lows from 68 to 73 degrees. Winds are expected to be in the same range as earlier in the day.

The expected sunny skies will serve as the backdrop when UH (10-0) takes on Boise State (10-1) this afternoon with a Western Athletic Conference championship and a possible January bowl bid at stake.
