We hope people will take responsibility for their own behavior so that everyone, including the visitor's from Boise State, can enjoy one of the biggest football games in UH football history," stadium manager Scott Chan said in a statement earlier in the week.

TRAFFIC & PARKING INITIATIVES

Additional security personnel will be in place to monitor inappropriate behavior. Anyone caught throwing objects or acting inappropriately will be asked to leave the premises and dealt with accordingly.

"We are implementing a task force and additional HPD officers and Wackenhut Security guards to help monitor guest behavior," Chan said. "Although we hope to keep consequences to a minimum, guests need to know that we will not tolerate any type of inappropriate behavior that creates a potential problem or threat to public safety."

Fans are encouraged to tune in to 1420 AM for traffic updates as they approach the stadium.

Aloha Stadium Traffic Supervisor Engel Garcia will be calling in to report on traffic conditions to help direct vehicles to alternate parking sites after parking gates close to the public.

The far right lane on Salt Lake Boulevard will be identified for vehicles with PARKING PASSES ONLY after the parking gates close to the public.

Vehicles without parking passes will be directed to the left and center lanes on Salt Lake to help keep traffic moving.

"We are expecting the parking lot to be full between 1 o'clock and 1:30," Chan said. "Vehicles with parking passes only will be allowed into the gates. At that point, all other vehicles will be directed to alternate sites."

Vehicles traveling East on Kamehameha Highway will be allowed to make a U-Turn before the Essex Road intersection at the discretion of the HPD officer on site.

"This will help alleviate the congestion that occurs on Essex Road," Chan said. "The HPD officer will allow this U-Turn only if it is safe to do so. Drivers need to take their que from the officer directing traffic."

LOWER HALAWA PARKING GATES 3 & 4

Kam Drive-In – Parking is $5 per vehicle with FREE shuttle service and FREE admission to the Aloha tailgate area.

Leeward Community College – Parking is FREE. Cost is $2 for shuttle service with FREE admission to the Aloha tailgate area.

Radford High School – Parking is $5. NO shuttle service available. FREE admission to the Aloha tailgate area.

Ford Island – Parking is $5 per vehicle with FREE shuttle service and FREE admission to the Aloha tailgate area.

Note: Security is present at all alternate parking sites. Shuttle service begins at 12:30 p.m. and up to one hour after the game ends.

SECURITY INITIATIVES

Increased security personnel will be on hand to monitor and control irresponsible guest behavior. A ZERO-TOLERANCE POLICY will be in effect for irresponsible behavior.

"We are trying to create a fan-friendly environment for our guests," Chan said. "We will not tolerate any type of irresponsible behavior that threatens public safety and could potentially cause a situation to escalate."
