Deadline for Honolulu wreath contest nears

The deadline to enter the city's 22nd annual holiday wreath contest is Wednesday.The contest has categories for adult and children. First, second and third place winners in each category get up to $150. The winner of the "best in show" award will get $200, while the six winners of the "judges' choice awards" will receive $25 each.
Contest entries will be accepted from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Lane Gallery at Honolulu Hale. Entries must include a completed wreath contest entry form.
Winners will be notified by Dec. 7.
All entries will be exhibited in the Lane Gallery at Honolulu Hale from Dec. 1 to New Year's Day. For more information, call the mayor's Office of Culture and the Arts at 523-4674 or visit www.honolulu.gov/moca.
