H-1 lane closures set between Waipahu and Makakilo

The state is warning drivers of single-lane closures on the H-1 Freeway between Waipahu and Makakilo next week.The right-most westbound lane will be closed in the area from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday to Thursday. On Friday, the closure will move to the left-most lane.
The left-most lane in the eastbound direction will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday to Thursday.
The lane closures are need for excavation and resurfacing work, the state Department of Transportation said.
Drivers are advised for extra travel time when traveling through the area.
