Warriors up three spots to No. 10 in USA Today poll

The University of Hawai'i football team moved up three spots to No. 10 in the USA Today Top 25 coaches poll released today.The Warriors won their first outright Western Athletic Conference football championship with a 39-27 victory over Boise State Friday at Aloha Stadium. At 11-0, Hawai'i is the only remaining undefeated team in major college football.
West Virginia is the new No. 1, followed by Missouri, Ohio State, Georgia and a tie for fifth between Kansas and Virginia Tech.
Boise State fell from No. 17 to No. 23.
The coaches poll is one of two used in the calculation of the BCS standings that determine the BCS bowl matchups. The newest standings will be released this afternoon.
Hawai'i completes its regular season against Washington Saturday at Aloha Stadium.
