Gibson returns to UH lineup, leads 'Bows to win

Matt Gibson scored 18 points in his return to the lineup and led five players in double figures as the University of Hawai'i men's basketball team defeated Coppin State, 79-58, tonight at the Stan Sheriff Center.

Riley Luettgerodt scored 17 points for Hawai'i (2-3), Bill Amis scored 16, Jared Dillinger scored 11 and Bobby Nash added 10.

Gibson played in his first game of the season, returning from a knee injury. Gibson started 30 of 31 games last season, averaging 10.2 points per game.

A'daeron Duncan scored 15 points and Robert Pressey added 11 for the Eagles (3-4).

Hawai'i plays at San Diego on Sunday.
