Boulder removal closes Kuhio Highway near Kapaia Hill

Kaua'i police have closed Kuhio Highway in the vicinity of Kapaia Hill near the Wilcox Hospital emergency entrance due to the clearing of boulders on the roadway by state Department of Transportation road crews.The highway was closed shortly after noon today.
Motorists will need to seek alternate routes while the work is being done.
