Company with Hawaii resorts joins Bermuda project

A real estate investment firm that owns several resorts on the Big Island is partnering in a project to develop Bermuda's first new luxury hotel in decades.Scout Real Estate Capital is joining with Bermuda Premier Ewart F. Brown to develop a five-star hotel on the 32-acre oceanfront site that is expected to open in 2010.
Thas Scout Real Estate Capital, LLC, with offices on Nantucket and in New York City, focuses its investment in resort opportunities worldwide, including various properties totaling 6,000 acres located on the Big Island.
Scout said in a news release that itcaters to affluent, sophisticated, leisure-focused travelers.
