Rescue crew sent to help Waikiki surfer

A Fire Department rescue crew has been sent to an area near 2745 Kalakaua Ave. in response to a report of a surfer possibly in distress in ocean waters off the Queen's Beach surfing area in Waikiki.The rescue crew was dispatched to the scene about 7:40 a.m.
