Niu Valley Middle School will hold a HI-5¢ recycling drive from 7:15 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Dec. 7 in front of the school at 310 Halema'uma'u St.

Students and parent volunteers will have curbside collection. Bigger loads will be directed to the school parking lot where volunteers will take the cans and bottles. Donations can be unsorted.

Money raised by the recycling drive will be used to purchase new laptop computers by the Friends of Niu Valley for the school's computer lab. For more information, call 728-4934.
