Police are looking for three men who broke into a Ma'ili home early yesterday morning and robbed six people at gunpoint.

The men assaulted one of the occupants of the home and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash and jewelry.

One man was arrested after police chased the suspects, who fled the robbery in a black Chevrolet Blazer into One'ula Beach Park in 'Ewa Beach.

Four men got out of the car at the park and ran in different directions, police said.

Officers arrested a 24-year-old man on suspicion of first-degree robbery.

"We're still looking for the other three," police Lt. William Baldwin said. "This is kind of out of the ordinary."

At 1:44 a.m. yesterday, the men allegedly forced their way into a home on Kulaaupuni Street in Ma'ili, where six people between the ages of 21 and 58 live, police said.

The men, armed with at least one semi-automatic handgun and one revolver, woke the residents of the home and demanded money.

The four men wore ski masks and black T-shirts emblazoned with a white "DEA" logo when they entered the home.

Upon robbing the victims at gunpoint, the robbers fled in the black sport-utility vehicle toward Farrington Highway.

The Blazer was found by police on Farrington Highway, and police believe the men fled in another vehicle.

One of the suspects tried to use a victim's credit card at a store in Kunia, but the clerk behind the counter declined the transaction, police said.
