Moped driver critically injured in Punchbowl

Honolulu police criminal and traffic investigators are looking into critical injuries suffered by a moped driver tonight in Punchbowl.The man was taken to The Queen's Medical Center in critical condition, according to city Emergency Medical Services spokesman Bryan Cheplic.
The incident on Lusitana Street near Ohelo Lane was reported at 8:05 p.m. and involved a collision between a car and moped, police said. A second vehicle may also be involved.
A section of Lusitana between Ohelo and Milo lanes is closed to traffic.
Details of the two-prong investigation were not immediately available.
