Sprint: Download Hawaiian music

Sprint customers can now download on their wireless devices traditional and contemporary Hawaiian music from the Mountain Apple catalog.
The cost is 99 cents per song for customers with a data plan. Artists include Israel Kamakawiwo'ole, Hapa and the Brothers Cazimero.
"Sprint is committed to the Hawai'i market and believes that a wide range of mobile music should be offered to all our customers. That's why we are offering Hawaiian music by some local favorites, such as Iz," said Dale Goya, general manager, Sprint Hawaii.
The Sprint Music Store offers a selection of more than 2 million songs from virtually every genre. It allows song downloads via the computer in addition to over-the-air and launches with one click from the phone's main menu.
SWAP MEET OFFERS CHRISTMAS DEAL
The Aloha Stadium Swap Meet wants to attract its share of the holiday shopping crowd by waiving its normal $1 general admission for consumers on the six days before Christmas, Dec. 19-24.

YellowPages Corp. has launched a Web site that provides local search for all real estate-related businesses in Hawai'i.
Location-specific real estate directories meet the demands of its users.
The site, www.HawaiiRealEstateYellowPages.com, lists more than a dozen categories, from agents and appraisers to relocation services and title companies in Hawai'i.
The company has launched localized real estate sites for nearly 60 major metropolitan cities and states.
BIG ISLAND TO GET NEW LUXURY HOTEL
A real estate investment firm that operates resorts on the Big Island is partnering in a project to develop Bermuda's first new luxury hotel in decades.
Scout Real Estate Capital is joining with Bermuda Premier Ewart F. Brown to develop a five-star hotel on the 32-acre oceanfront site, which is expected to open in 2010.
Thas Scout Real Estate Capital LLC, with offices on Nantucket, Mass., and in New York City, focuses its investment in resort opportunities worldwide, including various properties totaling 6,000 acres on the Big Island.
Scout caters to affluent, sophisticated, leisure-focused travelers, the company said in a news release.
NEW TRAVEL PACKAGES TO COSTA RICA
Pleasant Holidays and its luxury brand, Distinguished Resorts, announced the launch of new travel packages to Costa Rica.
Pleasant Holidays, based in Westlake Village, Calif., operates locally as Hawaii World/Distinguished Resorts.
Pleasant Holidays is offering travel packages at resorts in the Costa Rican towns of Guanacaste, Puntarenas, San Jose, Montaverda and Arenal.
"In our ongoing effort to provide customers with new and different experiences in the ecological, cultural and historical realm of travel, Pleasant Holidays and Distinguished Resorts will offer the most comprehensive travel program to Costa Rica," said Jack E. Richards, president and chief executive officer of Pleasant Holidays.
