State football championship game delayed by traffic

The start of the Hawai'i High School Athletic Association's Division II football state championship game between 'Iolani and Lahainaluna, scheduled for 5 p.m. at Aloha Stadium, was delayed by 30 minutes today because one of the teams was caught in heavy traffic.The Lahainaluna team did not arrive at the stadium until 5:15 p.m.
Iolani defeated Lahainaluna, 28-21.
The Division I championship game between Saint Louis and Leilehua, scheduled for 8 p.m., was expected to be delayed as well, depending on the length of the Division II game.
