No reports of damage from 3.9 West Hawaii quake

A Hawai'i County police official said there have been no reports of damage from a 3.9-magnitude earthquake that was recorded at 6:37 p.m. Thursday night in West Hawai'i.The earthquake was centered five miles northeast of Honalo, the U.S. Geological Survey said. Honalo is between Keauhou and Captain Cook.
The earthquake occurred at a depth of 16.5 miles, according to the USGS. The agency said the quake's epicenter was 51 miles west of Hilo and 173 miles southeast of Honolulu.
