Venture capital panel discussion set for Dec. 12

The Hawaii Science & Technology Council will hold a venture capital panel discussion from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 12 at the Kahala Hotel and Resort.The "2007 Venture Capital Summit: Investing in Hawai'i's Future" will include venture capitalists, industry CEOs, institutional investors and fund managers. The keynote speaker will be William Harris, former director general of the Science Foundation, who will discuss "A Case Study in Economic Performance: Ireland, Lessons for Hawai'i."
