Du Vin Monday night wine dinner on tonight

Advertiser Staff

Tonight Brasserie Du Vin chef Scott Nelson's weekly wine-pairing dinner is dubbed "Year of the Toad." The dessert — a caramelized pear crumble — goes with a glass of Toad Hollow 'Amplexus' sparkling wine from Limoux, France. Sounds worth trying for that alone.

Also on the menu: salad of duck rillette and arugula with Zillken Estate Riesling Spatlese, prime rib with blue cheese glaze with Pio Cesare Barbaresco from Piedmont, Italy, and a nice bull's blood from Hungary.

Price: $69

Time: 6:15 tonight

Reservations are required. Call Dusty Grable at 255-8796 to book a spot.
