ALA MOANA
Repaving starts on boulevard

Advertiser Staff

Crews will start repaving the westbound lanes of Ala Moana boulevard today, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Repaving will continue through Friday morning.

The repaving work extends on Ala Moana between Fort and Punchbowl streets. It is part of a $12.5 million project to repave Ala Moana from Fort to Pi'ikoi streets.

Drivers should expect multiple lane closures in the westbound direction and allow for extra travel time.

The state hopes to have all lanes of Ala Moana from Fort Street to Ward Avenue repaved by Thanksgiving.
