Hanahauoli School 'friend-raiser' set for Nov. 10

Advertiser Staff

Hanahau'oli School's annual Children's Fair, "O Joy to the World," takes place 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 10. Admission is free.

Festivities include samplings of hand-rolled tempura sushi by chef D.K. Kodama and organic-beef hamburgers by Town chef Ed Kenney, food booths offering family fare, a country store, games, an artisan's bazaar, baked goods, a white elephant sale and pony rides.

The fair is touted as a "friend raiser" to build communities by bringing keiki and families together, from the school as well as neighbors from across the island.

Festivities are geared to children 2 through 12, but offerings appeal to moms, dads, aunts, uncles and grandparents.
