Saturday event aimed at mental illness

Learn the warning signs of mental illness and how to get treatment at the seventh annual Beyond the Blues Festival at Ala Moana Center on Saturday.The event will be at the center stage from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
It will feature free entertainment, along with information on mental health services statewide. Several organizations will participate and discuss options for treatment, and some will offer free stress and depression screenings for attendees.
In addition to publicizing treatment services, the festival is meant to raise awareness about and de-stigmatize mental illness.
