Lecturer to discuss meditation use in law

Charles Halpern, the Berkeley scholar in residence, will present two public programs to the Hawaii legal community on the use and benefits of traditional meditation practices in the practice of law.

  • A luncheon talk will be noon to 1:30 Thursday at the Plaza Club, $25.

  • A meditation training program for lawyers, judges and law students will be 9 a.m. Saturday at the Pacific Club; free. Reservations call 521-9312.
