Hawaii stock index rises led by Barnwell Industries

The Bloomberg-Honolulu Advertiser Hawai'i Index rose today, led by Barnwell Industries and Central Pacific Financial.The 11-member stock index rose .90 to 103.14.
Barnwell, which reported the receipt of a $1.9 million payment, rose 64 cents to $16.86, while Central Pacific was up 62 cents to $30.63.
