Alaska Airlines expanding service to Hawaii

Alaska Airlines said it's expanding its service to Hawaii by offering year-round Anchorage-Honolulu flights instead of the seasonal operation it had been planning.The airline said the nonstop flight will now be operated on a daily basis between Dec. 9 and April 26. Thereafter it will switch to a twice weekly service between April 27 and Oct. 25.
The carrier also announced an airfare sale featuring one-way fares between Anchorage and Honolulu for as low as $249 one-way.
