Police search for theft suspect in Nuuanu Valley

Police have been on or near the grounds of the Queen Emma Summer Palace in Nu'uanu Valley throughout the morning and into the afternoon searching for one or possibly two suspects in a minor theft case.Police said the suspects are not considered to be particularly dangerous.
The number of police cars in the area is attracting the attention of motorists headed toward Kailua on Pali Highway.
Police were still combing the area as of 2:15 p.m.
